Venue options can be vast and creating a solution that clearly communicates options is a challenge
Financial transparency can be a trade secret and a complex concept to communicate via an app
Reservation systems can be complex with varying levels of commitment as customers want to 'tie up' a date
In future designs, simplifying options for the user by using the UX principle of 7 or less would ensure less cognitive load
Working with vendors to get a range of costs could significantly positively impact customer's abilities to make a decision in future designs
Requiring customers to have a deposit for their date would ensure commitment levels match venue needs
Enhancing and iterating designs doesn't end - feedback from actual users is invaluable to ensuring your working on the right thing. There is a fine art and balance between iterating designs and shipping a product for feedback. I'd have liked to ship this app and watched conversations and reservation success metrics to ensure my designs were right.
